Transport yourself to Paris with a meal at Miramar Bistro...
Chef Gabriel Viti's smart-casual French restaurant on Chicago's North Shore. Miramar's beautiful décor and impeccable service emulate the quintessential Parisian dining experience, and create the perfect setting for any occasion.
Francophiles will applaud masterfully executed classics such as Escargot, Bouillabaisse with Pernod Broth and Steak Frites. Nightly specials include Crespelle with Spinach and Taleggio, Foie Gras and Roasted Squab.
Chilled Seafood towers featuring three different types of oysters, shrimp and crab claws are another highlight of Miramar’s menu.
The wine list offers 60-80 selections of wines (up to 15 by the glass) including wines from the Rhone and Burgundy areas, as well as Beaujolais. Pinot noirs, chardonnays and sauvignon blancs from California and around the world are also offered.
As with all of Viti's ventures, Miramar is highly personal to this renowned Chicago chef. "I actually stay in Miramar when I go to Cuba," says Viti. " You just feel the history. It's like time stopped, which didn't happen in Highwood, but our goal is to create the look and feel of a comfortable, time-worn neighborhood gathering spot."
